With the new year we all come with good resolutions! And one of the very common one is healthy eating!
Considering main ingredients in French pâtisserie are butter, double cream , it is not an easy thing!
Chickpeas seem to be very hype at the minute, especially with the increase of vegan diet. This recipe is not vegan as it contains eggs, anyway a cake without eggs can not be a cake for me, maybe I am too old fashion.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees.
200g dark chocolate
300g rinced chickpeas from the can
150 mL almond milk
80 g sugar
1tsp baking powder
1- Mix chickpeas and milk until you get a smooth texture.
2- Beat eggs and sugar until it gets white, pour the melted chocolate on it and combined with the chickpeas mixture.
3- Bake at 180 degrees between 20-25min depending the shape of you mould mine was quite high it takes 30 min (put a knife in the middle to check )
1 scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side…. et voilà!
I have another recipe of chocolate cake with … courgette! just need to try it and I will be back soon!!
